EADS North America announces integration of EADS TELECOM North America into newly formed holding company

EADS North America, the U.S.-based holding company for EADS, one of the world’s leading aerospace and defense companies, today officially named EADS TELECOM North America as one of its new subsidiaries. EADS TELECOM North America offers innovative telecommunications solutions for commercial, para-public and military customers. EADS North America Chairman and CEO Ralph Crosby officially welcomed as a part of EADS North America the unit in a press meeting today, accompanied by a facility tour of EADS TELECOM North America. Mr. Crosby is touring the U.S.-based operating units to officially welcome the company’s subsidiaries into newly-formed EADS North America.
During the press meeting, Mr. Crosby said, “I am proud that EADS TELECOM North America is an essential part of the EADS North America family. EADS TELECOM North America is a market leader and its growth in the United States is based on strong management and market-leading, well-respected products and services. The President and CEO of EADS TELECOM North America, Philippe Lecat, enthusiastically welcomed Mr. Crosby and the new relationship between EADS North America and EADS TELECOM North America. EADS TELECOM North America is currently located in Addison, Texas but will relocate to its new Frisco headquarters, in the Dallas metropolitan area. Scheduled for completion in November of 2003, the facility will include the executive team as well as Sales and Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Engineering, Research & Development, and Customer Service and will employ over 400 people.
