EADS TELECOM North America launches All-In-One contact center solution for North America

  • Centergy M7480 sets new standard for customer service with single scripting tool and multilingual capabilities

Dallas, Texas, August  27, 2003

EADS TELECOM North America, a subsidiary of EADS North America, today announced the launch of Centergy™ M7480, a comprehensive, turnkey communications contact center solution to support companies with five to 500 agents.

With 300 customers and thousands of agents deployed worldwide, Centergy M7480 supports all media channels – voice, e-mail, Web and fax – in a modular structure, allowing companies to deploy the functionality they need, when and where they need it. The solution also provides true skills-based routing at the agent level, matching the right agent to each customer interaction.

“Centergy M7480 provides the all-in-one solution and ease of use companies and their customers demand,” said Philippe Lecat, president and CEO of EADS TELECOM North America. “Our innovative, modular approach, single scripting and networking capabilities give companies all the flexibility and functionality they need to provide great customer service from a single location or around the world.”

Centergy M7480’s management application, Centergy™ Conductor, is a single scripting tool that makes it easy to manage and maintain single, partitioned or networked contact centers. All system and agent changes are applied globally from a single point of entry.

Centergy M7480 lets companies interact with customers in their native language using Centergy™ Linguist. With a single keystroke or telephone prompt, the multilingual application changes all solution components for both customers and agents globally to their language of choice.

Centergy M7480 operates on EADS TELECOM North America’s award-winning PointSpan® M6500 voice platforms for PBX, voice-over-IP and converged networks, making it one of the most flexible and scalable solutions on the market.

Centergy M7480 is the latest addition to the Centergy™ Contact Center suite, which also includes Centergy™ Reporting and Centergy™ Remote. These tools are currently being used by many of the world’s largest, networked and business-critical contact centers in the world. With the addition of Centergy M7480, EADS TELECOM now offers solutions that address 100 percent of the North American contact center market.
