“François Amat’s extensive knowledge in maintenance, repair and overhaul makes him the ideal executive to advance EADS Aeroframe Services into its second business development phase,” said EADS North America Chairman and CEO Ralph Crosby. “His responsibilities will include consolidating the company’s market position after a rapid expansion period, and ensuring that the maximum attention is given to customers’ needs.” Crosby said EADS North America’s strategy is to be a key player in the U.S. aerospace industry over the long term, and the holding company will provide the necessary resources to its operating entities in order to achieve this goal.
