EADS North America has contributed an additional $10,000 to its educational scholarship fund for the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA), underscoring the company's ongoing commitment to supporting warfighters and their families.
The latest donation brings the company’s total contributions for the EADS North America Distinguished Scholar Endowment to $75,000, with an additional $15,000 provided by the AAAA Scholarship Foundation, Inc. This makes the EADS North America Distinguished Scholar Endowment one of the most significant supported by an AAAA industry member.
"As a responsible corporate citizen and a staunch supporter of the Army Aviation Association of America, we’re pleased to be one of the largest contributors to the scholarship program," said Ralph D. Crosby, Jr., Chairman and CEO of EADS North America.
The endowment supports worthy candidates chosen by the AAAA Scholarship Foundation. Inc.’s selection board. Undergraduate and graduate students selected for scholarship awards include AAAA members and their immediate family members. Founded in 1963 as a 501-C3 charity, the AAAA Scholarship Foundation. Inc. awards over $200,000 to over 150 students each year.
