EADS North America’s $60,000 check supported the 2009 Charity Ball event, held March 28 at The Waterford in Springfield, Virginia. This is the Air Force Aid Society’s premier fundraising activity in support of its mission to assist Air Force members and their families.

“For the past six years, EADS North America has been honored to be the Air Force Charity Ball’s lead corporate sponsor,” said Ralph D. Crosby, Jr., Chairman and CEO of EADS North America. “The Air Force Aid Society is an organization that provides tremendous value to service members and their families, and we are truly proud to support its causes.”

Air Force Aid Society Chief Executive Officer Lt. Gen. Hopper (U.S. Air Force, ret.), thanked EADS North America for its continued generosity. “Money raised by the Charity Ball goes directly to providing worldwide emergency assistance to members and their families,” he explained. “We only hope that other corporate donors will follow the path that EADS North America has established.”
